FAMILY LODGES IN AN IDYLLIC LOCATION
Windermere Lodge and Ambleside Lodge offer comfortable accommodation, stunning views and a warm local welcome. If you’re looking for privacy, peace and quiet, these two neighbouring lodges are in a brilliant location on the edge of this popular park. They share an elevated position that makes the most of great views across the Troutbeck valley to the fells beyond.
Inside, both lodges have warm open plan living areas with lots of light, well-equipped kitchens and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. There’s plenty of storage – we understand how much you have to bring for a family holiday – and everything that you need for a good break.
Outside, there’s decking overlooking the valley, parking for two cars next to your Lodge and, for Windermere, there’s even your very own hot tub out on the deck. There are walks from your doorstep and we’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs.
Limefitt Holiday Park is in an ideal location for exploring the Lake District. South Lakeland, including Windermere and Ambleside, is close by but Ullswater and the North Lakes are just a short drive away too.
All in all, the Lodges are a perfect location for a peaceful break. The owners, Syma and John, live locally and look forward to welcoming you very soon.
