Ambleside Lodge

This lodge has been completely refurbished and decorated in 2021. It has a light and airy open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and cosy seating. The kitchen has a full-sized hob, oven and grill, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer so there’s everything you need for self-catering but you can also make the most of the area’s shops, cafés and restaurants. Cumbria has become quite a foodie destination in recent years and you’ll be well-placed to make the most of it.

Ambleside Lodge comfortably sleeps 6 people. It has three bedrooms – a twin, a double and a king room with its own en suite shower room – and a family bathroom. The owners manage the changeovers themselves and all bedding and towels are provided.

Outside, wraparound decking makes the most of the outdoor space and Lake District views. There’s a barbecue on the deck plus plenty of seating and a table for outdoor dining. You’ll have the evening sun to enjoy at the end of a great day as you plan for tomorrow.
